A MAJOR CLASS WAR VICTORY! In less than three weeks, #OccupyWallStreet has already redistributed $2 million in government largess, diverting the sum toward overtime wages for working men and women in New York City!
These working lower-middle-class households are among the most likely to spend any additional income on household necessities. (Rookie cops make roughly $42k annually, with a chance to incrementally reach the maximum base salary of $76,488 five and a half years later.)
The movement is doing what Congress, the Fed, and the President are still not: providing the economic stimulus America needs to get our economy recovering. Way to go, #OWS! |
