 Press Secretary Audrey Gelman Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, who may be pursuing a run for New York City Comptroller in 2013, has so far refused to comment on the issue, further than a denial from a spokesman to the New York Post:
“A Stringer spokesman insisted that the Manhattan Beep is ‘not involved in this, and he’s ‘continuing to put together the operation to run for mayor.’”
In the meantime, political insiders await word from Stringer Press Secretary Audrey Gelman, pictured below on vacation with State Senator Daniel Squadron.
